This is the best dashcam I found and you don’t need to hardwire anything unless you want to.
Look into the ROVE R2-4K DUAL Dash Cam Front and Rear. It seems to have the right bells and whistles and is about 130.
I got the dual channel ROVE 4k dashcam and highly recommend it.
Rove 4K.
Bought it years ago and it’s been great.
has a parking mode that's just 1 fps constantly.
Great quality, affordable and wi-fi app enabled.
roughly $100 with the chip.. you can read with your phone app.
Easy install. Looks decent.
I've been using and analyzing dashcams since 2013. I have Rove. They're okay.
I have a 4k Rove front dash cam.
Please stay away from Rove dashcams.
I had installed a Rove dash cam in both our Forster and Crosstrek.
It’s been fine. App works well and fairly cheap.
Have used an earlier version of the R2-4K for over 3 years and it has performed well.
I have a Rove R2-4K that I don't have any complaints about. No cloud option but the wifi download is really fast.
I use the ROVE R2-4K.
